Established in 2004 by Artists/Collectors D. Michael & Denise Coffee, SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts started out as a 1,000 sq. ft. Ceramic studio/gallery. Located in a commercial district and in a metal building that once housed an auto repair shop, SHY RABBIT quickly became known as a true Art lover's destination.  With quality and presentation two mainstays, SHY RABBIT would soon attract knowledgeable Artists and Patrons of the highest caliber.

Fast forward to 2010, a fully renovated 4,000 sq. ft. SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts was introduced to the public, incorporating two 1,000 sq. ft. exhibition spaces, a 400 sq. ft. foyer gallery, and 1,600 sq. ft. of studio workshop space. Since its inception in 2004, SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts has hosted over twenty regional & national exhibitions.

Gaining in reputation as the area’s leading Contemporary Arts venue, SHY RABBIT has received acclaim for its contribution to the advancement of Contemporary Art in the Four Corners region of the USA, and for the high quality of its exhibitions. Printmaking, Ceramic and Artist  Business Development workshops have been recently introduced, adding to the many layers of SHY RABBIT's offerings.

"We show Art in an unexpected venue, in an unexpected location, with passion. If you're interested ... you'll come look."
