ELIGIBILITY
This exhibition is open to any National or International artist 18 years of age of older. Original contemporary works in traditional and nontraditional printmaking media including book arts, three-dimensional and mixed media prints are eligible. All submissions must have been completed within the last three years. Straight or purely digital prints and photography are not eligible.
JUROR
Michael Krueger received his B.F.A. from the University of South Dakota in 1990, and his M.F.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1993.
Krueger currently serves as an Associate Professor of Art at the University of Kansas, where he has been teaching Drawing and Printmaking since 1995.
He has conducted lectures and workshops at over 150 venues, including Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, MI; Instituto Superior de Arte, Asunción, Paraguay; and Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI.
Krueger’s work has been widely exhibited in the U.S., Europe and Asia, and has been presented in several solo shows and more than 40 national and international group shows over the last decade, including exhibitions at Ambacher Contemporary, Munich, Germany; Glasgow Print Studio, Glasgow, Scotland; the International Print Center New York, New York, NY; Sears-Peyton Gallery, New York, NY; Davidson Gallery, Seattle, WA.
Krueger’s work is included in over 80 public collections including; the New York Public Library, New York, NY; the Museo Del Barro, Asunción, Paraguay; Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA; City of Seattle, WA; Fogg Museum, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA; Musuem of Art - Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI; and Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s Estate in Charlottesville, VA.
