Printmaker and Professor, Juergen Strunck, is known for his colorful relief prints. Strunck currently serves as Professor of Art at the University of Dallas. , Irving, Texas.
Strunck’s prints have been shown in hundreds of invitational and competitive national and international exhibitions, and have been featured in 60 solo exhibitions worldwide.
Strunck has served as juror/curator for 20 competitive exhibitions throughout the United Sates, and has also served as a symposium panelist for a number of national universities and highly regarded print and graphics councils.
Srunck’s prints have been widely published, and are in the collections of numerous public institutions including the: Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; Library of Congress, Washington, DC; Museum of Contemporary Graphic Art, Fredrikstad, Norway; National Centre of Fine Arts, Giza, Egypt; and Museu Nacional de Belas Artes, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts: Gallery, Studio & Workshops, is honored to announce a Call for Entries for the “SHY RABBIT Print International 3”: An International Juried Online Exhibition,
January 1 – December 31, 2012.
Building upon the overwhelming success of the SHY RABBIT 2009 / 2010 Print National Juried Exhibitions, and in keeping trend with a rapidly growing global marketplace, the “SHY RABBIT Print International 3” Call for Entries has been expanded to include submissions from international artists. Furthermore, all submissions will be reviewed for consideration by internationally recognized Printmaker and Professor, Juergen Strunck , Professor of Art, University of Dallas, Irving, Texas.
Special Recognition will be given to an exemplary print selected from this exhibit through a Purchase Award. The work will become part of the SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts’ permanent collection of prints. This purchase award will be provided at the sole discretion of the SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts’ Gallery Director.
All juried works will be represented online through the SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts’ website, in a Gallery format created specifically for this exhibit with its own independent URL. Each piece in the online gallery will be displayed with the Artist’s name, media information, size information and retail pricing (unframed). Each image will be expandable for detailed viewing. All artwork in this exhibit will be for sale utilizing PayPal’s online payment options. This exhibit will remain online for one year, to maximize its exposure to an ever-expanding worldwide market.
SHY RABBIT will also establish and maintain an alternative 3rd party online market venue, of its choosing, to further build the exhibit’s exposure.
SHY RABBIT will utilize its online social media outlets to promote the exhibit through FaceBook, Twitter and extensive e-blast campaigns. SHY RABBIT will utilize all of its traditional offline media options as a compliment to its online efforts.
